This means I am restarting 4 to 6 times per day. ![]() Not right away but after a few hours I have to force the computer to restart and then everything is fine for a while. I have reinstalled the OS, created a fresh user account, and tried starting in Safe Mode and the problem still manifests. ![]() Activity Monitor does not show a particular process taking up a large percentage of CPU cycles but I do see very high disk IO (15,000+ Read Ins/sec). Just moving the mouse will produce a beachball that lasts for 5 to 7 minutes, programs will not run (Activity Monitors shows many apps and the Finder as "Not Responding") and I cannot even Force Quit apps (even from Activity Monitor) or restart without pressing the power button.
